Sunflowers
This was my first time painting on a door, and to make it more challenging, it was an exterior south facing door.
I couldn't have had a more appreciative client for this project.
This piece holds deep meaning for her and brings the joy of sunflowers in bloom year-round to this special place.

Flower in the Crannied Wall
Inspired by the poem, this acrylic painting on canvas was thoughtfully crafted for a client who has a love for the written word and upon seeing my art, requested this piece.
The letters are a special vinyl application.
It was truly a delight to have full reign on the design of this piece.

In Memory of Jinx
How do we properly honor these precious souls who offer their humans such unconditional love?
This acrylic painting on canvas is my tribute to Jinx, capturing the essence of his spirit to keep his memory alive in the daily lives of his family.
Creating this piece was driven by my deepest wish to honor his enduring presence.

Neuro Abstract
The mind is an active and diverse place. How does one demonstrate the emotions, thoughts, and feelings in one image?
With eyes closed, the viewer is drawn into the mind of the figure. There is both beauty and pain in a storm, as in the mind.
This piece was created for the office of a client beginning her practice as a psychologist.

Chief Mountain
The iconic Chief Mountain sits atop rolling hills of colour like a beautifully woven quilt embracing the landscape.
This mountain holds great meaning for the family of the client it was created for. A true one-of-a-kind gift to honor the parents/in-laws of a newly wedded couple.
I love the bold band of fluorescent breaking the calming blues and greens of the mountain and sky.

Mount Illimani
One for you, one for me.
A brilliant gift idea featuring a duo watercolour commission.
One made as a gift for the parents/in-laws and the other as a wedding gift for themselves.

Father & Son
Creating this graphite drawing posed a unique challenge: bringing to life an image that never existed.
I carefully combined photos of a deceased father, his living son, and a car that holds deep meaning for both.
This drawing was a heartfelt gift from the daughter of the son in the image, presented for his birthday, and it was met with a priceless reaction.

Bee Here Now
This drawing, created with colored pencils and ink, was commissioned for a local Day of the Dead celebration.
It became the symbolic logo for the event and was auctioned off during the festivities.
Attending the event, where my work played such a central role, was an unforgettable experience, and I’m grateful to have contributed to such a meaningful celebration.

Book Design
I specialize in book design, handling everything from cover design to interior layout.
I’ve had the pleasure of designing 7 volumes for my mom's romance series Tales of Basting Twill, a children’s book illustrated with my family, and a nonfiction adventure book by my uncle.
Seeing my designs in print is a rewarding experience that I truly cherish.
